While Jim may be best known for his national credits from TV, Broadway and Radio, his gospel heart has always yearned to "give back" for his God-given voice. Christian radio has embraced this bass baritone singer with the four octave range, and he is having a great time releasing songs in 5 different genres; giving him the venue to "showcase" at concerts while on the radio tours arranged by his label, FrostByte Records and Don Frost, from Music City Gospel.
* COUNTRY * POP * CHRISTIAN COUNTRY * GOSPEL * COWBOY *

This baby-boomer, dubbed "Troubadour Turner" while still in high school, is known for choosing songs for his debut Inspirational album, SUNDAY BEST, that weave story-telling around his warm and gentle guitar arrangements. Set to launch at the 2012 Pigeon Forge Gospel Convention next June, Music City Gospel made sure they taped Jim's performance at the 2009 gathering.

Dear friends, be prepared to "COWBOY UP"!
Jim is putting the finishing touches on his next CD, featuring authentic songs of the Old West. Negotiating with cable TV's channel, RFD-TV, please keep checking back for updates of the wagon train/campfire traditions where standards mix with Jim's own songwriting at AQHA horse ranches during the grand season of cutting horses, reinings, rodeo exhibitions and performances throughout the Mid-West. Proceeds from these gatherings will help sponsor the return of the American Mustang to permanent areas of grazing land.
Currently on radio and touring .... Broadway calls right after UT

Just one note however - this particular internet music critique site has no genre for "Christian" nor "Gospel". You might want to "warn the kids" that secular music doesn't always mix well with non-secular artistry.

Southern Gospel Hit's Times Two For Golden Voice Crooner
This week the Gospel Music Charts of RA have a name showing up twice in the TOP 80 Southern Gospel Chart. Not only does the "Golden Voice Crooner" Jim Turner show up twice in the southern chart but the songs promoted by the Rick Hendrix Company are incredibly both in the TOP 10! With a really fun reality song for most of us Christians called, "Sunday Best" at #7 and a very powerful ballad called, "Mercy Came Down" at #1 this makes a first for our charts.
